 About us

In 2006 a company called ecliptixnet was awarded a grant through the USDA to provide broadband internet access to the public health and safety services, schools, businesses and residents in and around springdale WA. In 2008 The promised services had become a reality. And with those services came the Springdale Community Center. Its purpose was to provide computer access to everyone in the town of springdale and surrounding area's who needed it. The building we were given included a conference room as well as the computer lab.

In 2011 The community Center was signed over to the town of Springdale. We are still run on a volunteer basis, and we still offer the same basic services we began with in 2008. We would like to expand this to include continuiong education courses, and are currently working with the Spokane Community College Colville Branch. Hopefully as a community we can find ways to continue to provide the ammenities that the Community Center offers to our community.
